Why not a subscription?
Because a card reader on a mountain at 2am does not care about our billing. Your license is a signed file on your Mac; it never expires and never checks in with anyone.
What about the cloud features?
They run on your account — your S3 bucket, your SFTP server. We never sit in the middle of your footage, so there is nothing for us to meter and nothing for you to rent.
Team or rental?
Multi-seat packs for rental houses and productions are coming after launch. If you need one now, write to us — we would rather talk than make you wait.
